BTC Days Higher
Loading daily Bitcoin prices…
What this shows: for each date, count all earlier daily BTC prices strictly above that date’s price.
The count falls to zero when the price meets or exceeds every earlier recorded price. It can rise again after a pullback,
and older cycle peaks remain part of the count. This is a count of higher-price days, not a continuous streak below the all-time high.
Reading the chart: the gradient area uses the left, linear days axis; the white BTC/USD price line uses the right, logarithmic axis. The purple dashed line marks the largest days-higher count in the full record. The white dot marks the latest count. The colours follow the number of days, from red through gold and teal to blue.
Statistics: “above X% of days” compares the latest count with the historical distribution of this metric. “Metric records set” counts days that strictly exceeded every earlier days-higher reading (zero is excluded). “Longest below high” is the longest calendar span below a previously reached daily price high; “Since price ATH” is the calendar time since the latest price at the all-time high.
Data: Blockchain.com market price, unsampled daily UTC observations from August 2010. The current UTC day is excluded. Missing observations are not interpolated; equal prices do not count as higher, and calculations use the source precision. Values can differ from the supplied reference image because the price source, daily sampling and observation dates differ. The page refreshes daily.
